I am looking to lift an elderly person, who can’t support their own weight on their legs, using a comfortable seat, canvas or netting of some kind, with attached straps that I can hook to a carabiner. It can’t be as complicated as a climbing harness. I need to be able to slide it under them and hook it up and lift. Wood is not ideal as I would need to leave it under them for some time. Big knots on a net would not be ideal either, the knots would have to be really small an unnoticeable to the 80 year old butt. Thanks for the help.

I was SO SO SO SO SO Happy to hit this lift. Ever since I began olympic style weight lifting, i have always wanted to reach a 140 kilo snatch of any sort. well i know my technique is not one that people should learn from if attempting olympic weight lifting seriously, but im proud of this anyway and the 3 years of snatching and hard work to get to this point. By far, one of my proudest achievments, a 140 kilo power snatch with no grip aid at all!!!!

I have a very large chest for my body size. I have chosen a strapless gown to wear at my wedding but I am concerned my breasts will weigh the dress down in the front. Is there any lingerie without straps that could give me a lift?
there are strapless bras, I would recommend finding one of those :] They are really awesome, you can find them most anywhere. But for a nice one I would go to victorias secret and ask someone there to help you

Obama today lifted the 8 year ban on federal funding for stem-cell research by executive order. Given the headlines I thought this would be a good time to resurface the (friendly) debate.
I read the book by Ian Wilmut and Keith Campbell almost 10 years ago- about Dolly the sheep, about biomedical research, and about it’s promises. Here is my argument supporting stem cell research.
Do you know anyone with one or more of the following?
Parkinsons, Alzheimer’s diseases, spinal cord injury, stroke, burns, heart disease, diabetes, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, leukemia, lymphoma, liver disease, cancer, multiple sclerosis, brain disease, blindness, deafness, HIV, or aids?
Studies show these can all be treated or even cured using stem cell treatment. Recently, there are reports of a low-cost procedure to -cure- heart attacks using stem cells (see link below).

Some individuals say killing embryonic cells is equivalent to murder- but by that logic don’t I commit mass murder every time I sneeze, or scratch my arm, as both actions kill millions of cells?

I’m breaking out the champagne for A LOT of things he’s done this short week. Good for him. People who are against stem cell research are more commonly misinformed on what it is and don’t understand the science of it. I hope we get some good results from this research soon because it’s been a LONG time coming.
And yes bush didn’t ban the research but he banned federal funding which is how a lot of companies and researchers get their money. So it did put a HUGE damper in being able to research and having pharmacy companies even wanting to try. Again some people don’t know what they are talking about.
Anyway, Hooray Obama!
