lifting wrist straps or gym hooks?

i’m shopping for something that will help me in my deadlifts and other exercises. i was wondering if i can get some help from you about which i should get, plus if you have any type in mind.

wrist straps are really good to help you when doing exercises like deadlifts. but then for other exercises that you need help to grip the bar they dont help. plus its not you lifting naturally so it hinders your strength and muscle building.
so what i would recommend to get is weight lifting gloves, just the really tight ones that help grip things but then its still you doing it by yourself, plus they help for other exercises like pull ups and chin ups.
or another option you could go for is getting the weight lifting chalk, its just another way to get a better grip and stop the bar getting slippery from your sweat. the only thing is you have to keep replacing the chalk, but it works really well, so it just comes to whatever you prefer.
ive used both gloves and chalk, and both work awesome but i prefer the gloves, helps in nearly all exercises and you never have to put extra on.

Put Keyword Links in Quality Articles Is The Way To Go

  Short while ago google had changed their ranking algorithm,   in the name of providing more relevant search results for it’s users, according to their official blog, this change impacts 11.8% organic search results, put it this way, almost 12% of google search results are useless or of low quality. They planned and started the update about one year ago, no wonder I saw a few of my keywords’ ranks dropped like a rock, the good thing is that those keywords promoted by content rich links are not affected, some of the keywords even ranked better than before, it’s almost a sure thing that plain link building loses all it’s attraction, at least in the eye of google.

So what exactly is linking campaign the old way? a large percentage of SEO firms will do this,  they add your links to those linking websites without context, the content on those sites will never be updated, and most of them are useless, the name link spamming are just for these sites. The latest google update will definitely downgrade most if not all of these sites, any links on them will be affected too. 

A few real world examples will help to explain what I said. In the very beginning, I didn’t know better, I started with this keyword, G Clamp, it was old way of link building all the way, a lot of sites I used had too many links, worst yet, those sites had no content at all. This strategy worked in the beginning, lately the keyword link stayed on the first page for a while, the party was over when google updated it’s algorithm. Now let’s look at another keyword, chain puller , we promoted this keyword with articles and blog posts, almost no plain links, you can imagine how this keyword ranks. So contextual link wins this time, what about future? It all boils down to content, so if you create great content, you will attract readers as well as search engines. How do you do it? Writing articles and building blogs, such as this interesting blog, sherri hill dresses , in the beginning I just post to it casually, lately I added nice stuff left and right, the result? I got nice ranking for a few realy nice keywords now. As far as SEO concerned, quality blog marketing is much better than plain link building. Say you’re building your own bogging network, something like Grade 70 Chain, then it will be easier to do article marketing.

Remember content is king, you just need to create content, share the content with people, in the mean time advertise your business with your content, your effort will reward you handsomely in the end. The virtues, persistence and patience, are essential for your success, nothing will automatically improve overnight, it doesn’t matter you’re doing SEO or advertising your business, keep doing what we have to do till the end of world. One of the best articles directories is EzineArticle, new article will be indexed within an hour if not minutes, of course your posts on some blogs will be indexed real fast as well, let look at some aticles or posts which are published and indexed, rigging hardware, explains some interesting concepts, quality content, nice presentation, indexed by google, this article serves it’s purpose well.

Last but not least, if you don’t take social media account, you’re lost. One thing you can do for your blogs is to install twitter tools, get a twitter account and API keys, link your blog to twitter, you should choose to post a tweet for every new post, it’s easy and really useful, if you don’t use this tool it’s just too bad.

Did i tear a ligament in my thumb?

So just about now I was lifting up my backpack and my thumb was under the strap so when i lifted it up, the bones that connect to my thumb went down and i heard a crack. Theres no pain or anything but for like 5 minutes there was a bit discomfort on the bottom left side of a bone connected to my thumb.

You may have stretched a ligament, or the sound you heard may have been the sound of a tendon or ligament moving out of place and then back into place. If there is nay pain in the next couple of days, get it checked. Ice it several times over the next day or so when you can.

is this a workers comp case?

I have been with my company for over 5 years. Year after year I would request a hand cart/dolly to my boss and all of the asst. Mangers. I would let them know that everyone else in my postion has one and that I have to always lift things between 50-100 lbs. Only after writing a letter to my human resource department I got one and that was 6 month ago. I have been having pain in my back,neck and chest and saw my doctor and after some teats he tells me today that I have a degenerative neck. I have never been I any accidents that could warrant a 29 year old to have something like this. My doctor says to stay away from heavy lifting and that’s my job. What should I do?

The key word in your statement is “degenerative”. Each state will have its own Work Comp laws specifying what is and is not covered. Most state, including the ones I current do work comp claims in do not allow degenerative claims, even if it was discovered through a work related incident.

It may not hurt to try and file the claim as work comp. That should have been done by your treating physician at the time of the first appointment. Some states also will not allow a claim if you cannot point to an exact time and place the accident occurred. Contact your employers work comp carrier or contact a Work Comp lawyer. A lawyer should give a free consultation to review if the claim is legitimate or not but if they determine it is, you would be on the hook for attorney fees.

Dolly Momma foot work pt 2

This is the continued work getting Dolly to lift her hind feet on request. In the beginning, I know she offered me two lifts that I could have clicked and treated, but I had not asked for them. (We had gotten one or two out of her prior to the camera coming back on and she was just offering them for rewards without me asking.) I would like to get a little less “kick” and a little more lift, but I don’t want to ask for too much until I get her back feet done and know they aren’t bothering her.
